How it works
A whole season, from first entry to final table.
You bring the pickleball. The platform handles the fixtures, the scoring rules, the tie-breaks and the ratings.
The season, step by step
- 01
Browse and find your grade
Anyone can look through the open competitions by area, discipline, skill grade and age group - no account needed.
- 02
Set up your profile
Sign in with an emailed link, then add your declared DUPR rating, your home area and, if you have one, your DUPR ID so results can be matched.
- 03
Enter a competition
Enter your grade or play up a level. Free competitions activate straight away; where there's a fee, you pay once by card and you're in.
- 04
Divisions are drawn
Once entries close, the organiser splits entrants into divisions of six to ten by rating, strongest first, and publishes the fixtures.
- 05
Arrange each match
You get a full round-robin - every opponent once. One side hosts; you agree a court and time between you.
- 06
Play, report, confirm
Play best of five to eleven. One side enters the scores, the other confirms them, and the division table updates on the spot.
Getting in
Enter your grade, or play up.
Your declared rating sets your grade. You're always welcome to enter a tougher division, but not an easier one - so every table stays honest.
- Beginner
- A declared rating below 3.30.
- Intermediate
- A declared rating from 3.30 to 3.99.
- Advanced
- A declared rating of 4.00 and above.
- Playing doubles
- Enter your partner's email and they get an invitation to join your pair. You pay the full pair fee when you enter.
- Paying
- Free competitions start you off active immediately. Where there's an entry fee, you pay once by card; if a payment doesn't go through, a Pay now button waits on your dashboard.
Scoring
How a match is won
- A match is best of five games. First to three games wins it.
- Each game is first to eleven, but you must lead by two clear points.
- Level at 11–11? Play on until someone is two ahead.
- Above eleven the winning margin is always exactly two.
- You report between three and five game scores, home side first.
The table
How ties are settled
You get three league points for a match win. When players finish level, the table works down this chain in order:
- 01League points
- 02Matches won
- 03Game difference
- 04Points difference
- 05Head-to-head, on the matches between the tied players only
When things don't go to plan
Reminders, disputes and no-shows
A daily nudge
Each morning, anyone with a match to arrange, one coming up in the next 48 hours, or a result overdue gets a single reminder email. Nothing outstanding means no email.
Disagree with a score
Instead of confirming, you can dispute a reported score with a short reason. The result freezes and an organiser steps in to settle it.
Opponent doesn't show
Organisers can award a walkover - a win with no games played - or void a fixture that fell through, so the table stays fair.
Ratings
Your league games count nationally.
Add your DUPR ID to your profile and every confirmed result is submitted to DUPR automatically. No forms, no uploads, no chasing - play your league matches and your national rating keeps pace.
